I am a sociologist with an interest in social inequality broadly conceived; more precisely in the following five aspects: discrimination, gender inequality, social mobility, education, and consequences of social media presence. Methodologically, I conduct survey-based research and I use experimental methods, particularly field experiments, survey experiments, and quasi-experiments, to the research questions I am interested in.
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Copenhagen and I have an affiliation at the Center for the Philosophical-Experimental Study of Discrimination (CEPDISC) located at Aarhus University, Denmark (where I was previously a postdoc). Before that, I was a post-doctoral researcher at University of Konstanz, Germany, a PhD researcher in the Department of Political and Social Sciences at the European University Institute, Florence and a Fulbright scholar at Yale University. I hold a Master degree in Sociology from University of Oxford and a Bachelor degree in Sociology from Goldsmiths, University of London.
